2017 Downriver Indie Craft Fair Committee
In March we hold our annual Indie Craft Fair inside the building. Coordinating all the vendors, music and food is a lot of work. We could use a committee to help with the planning, organizing and logistics leading up to and the day of the fair. Please email us with the subject 2017 Indie Craft Fair Committee if you would like to help. We need you to be able to utilize facebook groups to communicate and attend some meetings at our facility. Meetings can be held in the evenings and weekends if that is convenient.
2017 Summer Art Camp Committee
Every summer the DCA has an engaging summer art camp program. It's a huge job and we could use some help planning, finding skilled teachers, searching for funding and getting the word out. Please email us with the subject 2017 Camp Committee if you are interested. This is a great opportunity for new teachers or community developers looking for the experience!
2017 Chestnut Art Fair Committee
Held in conjunction with the annual Wyandotte Street Art Fair, the DCA has its own indie art fair in front of our building. We need many volunteers to organize this event, and we have some great things planned for 2017. If interested in helping out with the initial planning, please email us with the subject 2017 Chestnut Art Fair Committee. This is a great opportunity for persons interested in community development. Artist vendors who would like to help, will be compensated with discounted booth space. We need you to be able to utilize facebook groups to communicate and attend some meetings at our facility. Meetings can be held in the evenings and weekends if that is convenient.
