Acting Classes Begin September 13th through Oct 6th

The Fall Session of the New Detroit Performance Workshop Acting Classes is now being organized and accepting a limited number of students.

This 4 week, professionally oriented program, taught by veteran actor/ acting coach John C Forman, involves learning Acting Craft, preparation, working on the imagination and impulsivity, along with scene work, character development and the basics of show business.

For more information, email detroitperfworks@gmail.com OR leave a message at 313-879-6379
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The workshop is based on the acting craft techniques and exercises developed by the renowned Hollywood acting teacher, Eric Morris. Morris is the author of "No Acting Please: Beyond the Method", "Being and Doing" and "Irreverent Acting". John Forman is reviving this highly respected program, formerly known as the Professional Actor's workshop, that he founded and taught in Atlanta for over 8 years.

Each student will work one on one with Mr. Forman and participate in group "Craft" exercises on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. He will coach actors thru applying the techniques in rehearsal and performance on Monday evenings in "The Scene Shop". The fee for this innovative and challenging 4 week, 13 session program is $150.
