Member's Show Exhibit
Open to all members or anyone that would be interested in becoming one. 
Each participant can exhibit a single piece of artwork in any media or size! 
The show will take place at the Wyandotte Arts Center, 81 Chestnut. All artwork 
must be original, framed, and ready to hang with identification on the back. Work 
must not have been previously shown at the DCA. All work must be for sale. 
Make sure you download form for commission information, fees, and dates.

Margo LaGattuta

Margo LaGattuta is a poet with four published books and received the Midwest 
Poetry Prize and the Founder's Award of the National Federation of State Poetry 
Societies. An editor of the Plain View Press since 1995, she teaches writing at 
University of Michigan (Flint) and hosts a weekly radio program called 'Art in the Air' 
on WPON AM. 

The DCA Parlor Series features music, a featured poet, open mic performances.

DETROIT PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP AUDITION
with veteran actor/coach/producer John Forman

4 week summer intensive workshop Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays 
starting September 13th.

AUDITION / INTERVIEW REQUIRED
August 23rd and 24th, 6:00 - 10:00 p.m.

A monologue, song or spoken word presentation of three minutes 
or less is required. 


Class size is limited

WEDNESDAY August 25th
"GHOSM - Ghost Hunters of Southern Michigan"
7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Speaker: Ghost Hunters of Southern Michigan (GHOSM)

Explore the supernatural!

The evening  features a slide Powerpoint presentation of ghostly pictures and 
spirit voices from GHOSM investigations of local places such as the Holly Hotel,
 Weber's Restaurant, The Whitney Restaurant, The Historic Wayne Theater, 
the Bonstelle Theater, and the Center for Creative Studies. Walkabout of the 
Wyandotte Art Center afterwards.
