Canadian born, she was raised speaking French by her expat French-Canadian mother and Ukrainian father who sought to live out the ideals of the American Dream. Michelle is a retired High School Art Educator and University adjunct, now a full time artist.

Adrienne has been an adjunct of Animation and Advertising Design at College for Creative Studies, and an adjunct of History of Graphic Design and Animation at Henry Ford College. Throughout her career she's worked in the Detroit advertising and production industry as well as in broadcast design.
While she does love the work she's done for various clients, her passion and peace is found in painting and writing.
“My fascination with finding peace in art and writing is what saved me; it’s what saves me every day.” Adrienne writes, “By painting and writing poetry, I’ve been able to pull out the voices in my head. I made them real, into something I could touch and see, by putting them into a painting or by writing them in a poem.”
Adrienne maintains an active performance schedule with poetry readings and speaking engagements based on healing and overcoming mental illness through art and writing.
