Kresge Artist Fellowship Info Session - 12/14/19

Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 11 AM – 1 PM

This workshop focuses on tips and strategies for creating an application that highlights your strengths and most compelling work through effective documentation, careful work sample selection, and clear written statements.

The strategies and tips shared are relevant to the 2020 Kresge Artist Fellowship application and more, such as applications for grants and residencies, artist websites, and marketing materials.

Toni Cunningham, 2018 Kresge Artist Fellow in Film & Music
Frank Pahl, 2010 Kresge Artist Fellow in Performing Arts

In 2020, Kresge Arts in Detroit will award eighteen fellowships ($25,000 no-strings-attached awards for artists at all career stages) and two Gilda Awards ($5,000 no-strings-attached awards for emerging artists) to artists living and working in metropolitan Detroit (Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties). Live Arts: Nine fellowships and one Gilda Award. Film & Music: Nine fellowships and one Gilda Award
