Acoustic Open Mic - 01/11/20
East River Folk Society, the original downriver acoustic open mic continues it’s 31st season in our new home, the Downriver Council for the Arts, 81 Chestnut, Wyandotte.
Please join us Saturday, January 11, 2020 for an evening of folk, acoustic and traditional music at 7:00pm. If you or someone you know is interested in performing, please come sign up for our open mic between 6:00 and 6:45. We have 8 to 10 open mic spots available. Open mic performers will perform 2 to 3 songs depending on the number of open mic performers.
Our Host for January is a wonderful singer/songwriter and performer John Rinn. John will start off the evening with some songs and then introduce the open mic performers. Our special guests are a familiar performers to East River but with a new name, Bishop Park. Bishop Park is Larry Kulik, John Pendell and Al Jurczyk (Al will is not able to attend this Saturday so Bishop Park will perform as a duo). They will perform a 45 minute set.
Admission for this event is $3.00 for DCA and ERFS members. For all non-members, including performers, admission is $5.00.
We will continue each month through May 2020 on the second Saturday of the month.
