Chamber Artists of Southeast Michigan (CASM) is a community driven group of performing artists committed to bringing an exceptional cultural experience to Southeast Michigan through live performance, scholarship opportunities, and educational engagement. More information can be found at www.casmmusic.org.

The Chamber Artists of Southeast Michigan (CASM) performance collective was founded in 2017 having previously been the "Concerts at St. Mary's Chamber Series". The goal of CASM has always been to bring the highest caliber classical musicians together in order to present intimate live concerts, offer educational and scholarship opportunities, and to commission and perform new works of music from Michigan composers and composers of diverse backgrounds. Prior to re-emerging as the Chamber Artists of Southeast Michigan, CASM was responsible for commissioning and performing over 9 new pieces of music from 2013 - 2016 and hopes to continue this again in the coming seasons. In 2017 CASM partnered with the Downriver Council for the Arts in Wyandotte, MI in order to secure a summer home where we present our three concert summer season in a space surrounded by local artists work. In the summer of 2019 CASM held its first annual Summer Scholarship award and also added a "Concert in the Community" which will move around to different venues throughout the state in order to bring classical music to spaces that may not typically hear it. The Summer Study Scholarships were awarded to two high school students who were selected through a written essay, teacher recommendation, and hand picked by a City Council member of the city of Wyandotte. CASM is looking continue its educational mission by presenting educational programs throughout the state including its "instrument petting zoo"! We look forward towards a bright future filled with music making, communal bonding, and bringing joy, love and togetherness throughout Michigan for years to come.
