Call for entries
The Downriver Council for the Arts (DCA) is excited to present “The Art of Fashion”, an exhibit featuring art inspired by the world of fashion and textiles. Artists are encouraged to break down barriers between fashion design and art, and to express their design sense and talents in various forms of media. Entries can consist of actual fashion that has artist value, wearable art, photography, paintings, sculpture, textile art, mixed media, and mannequin art. The DCA Main Gallery would be set up to present two- and three-dimensional art that strengthens and invigorates the viewer to consider the relationships between the different forms of art and fashion. Artists are welcome to submit with their items a form to display on if needed.
Entry deadline and drop-off: Tuesday, October 23, 2018 by 9pm
