Introducing our special guest performer, Jaelin Szydlowski!

“I’m a 7th grader at Arthurs Middle School in Trenton and have been singing ever since I was able to talk. I like to sing a variety of musical genres, but I prefer pop. My musical influences are Billie Eilish, Melanie Martinez, and Alec Benjamin, although I'm trying to explore different kinds of music. My goal with music is to take my talents are far as I can and reach my potential. My other hobby is writing books, although I don't really think of publishing them.”

Most recently, this accomplished young woman competed in the Michigan Music Association competition and won 1st place for Pop and Classical division in her age group and 3rd place in Broadway.  Jaelin is a student of Ms. Jami Krause, who teaches private lessons out of the Arts Center. The DCA is very excited and grateful to have Jaelin performing at our art exhibit opening reception!
