Nicole Gillies from Roving Eye will teach you traditional wet felting, the foundation technique for feltmakers. Learn the fundamentals of fiber layout, choosing appropriate materials for your project to prepare yourself with basic skills necessary to move on to more advanced projects. Experience the magic in transforming fiber to felt! In this workshop, you’ll learn the technique to create a one-of-a-kind felted bag. It can be a waist pack or a shoulder bag, whichever you prefer. This class will be a hands-on tutorial and you will take home your creation at the end of the night. Perfect for all levels!
Cost: $20 per student plus $10 material fee paid directly to the instructor on the day of class. Please bring an old towel. All other materials will be provided. BYOB and snacks!
