DCA Youth Art Classes Exhibit: Thursday, 4/17 from 6pm-8pm
Designed for fans of anime, manga, comics and cartoons. The anime art form, having originated in Japan in the early 1900s, is a uniquely stylized form of two- and three-dimensional illustration and animation. Teacher will lead lessons with step-by-step instruction. Students will learn essential drawing techniques as well as outlining and coloring to create a completed work of art. Develop the skills you need to make the anime and manga art you love! Bring pencils or markers and sketchbooks.
Suggested ages: 11 and up. (for slightly younger artists, please contact the DCA) Open to all skill levels.

Cost: Pre-pay $50 for entire 4-class session. Or drop-in rate of $15 per class date,
payable in the DCA office on day of class.
