Annual Members Show 06/2021 - Online and In Person
The Downriver Council for the Arts presents our Annual Members Show, featuring the art of our members!
Opening Reception: Friday, June 18, 2021 from 5-8pm
3rd Friday Art Crawl in Wyandotte.

Introducing our special guest performer, Ava Cheff!
Ava Cheff is a Sophmore at Trenton High School. She’s been singing since she could talk, and performed in her first musical when she was 6 years old. Since then, she has performed in over 30 musicals, but her performances extend outside of the theatre. Ava has been in two commercials and has also done work in movies, short films, and music videos.
For recreation, Ava participates in her high school theatre program, as well as playing in the concert, jazz, and marching band. Recently, Ava has joined her school’s Mock Trial team, which came in 3rd in the state in the 2020-2021 season. She has trained in ballet, jazz, lyrical, pointe, tap, and hip hop at Trenton School of Dance and Dance Nation. Ava also loves to write, with aspirations of becoming a published author in the future. This past winter, she competed in the Michigan Music Association vocal competition and received 2nd place in Broadway and Classical, and most recently placed 1st in Broadway Test List with at the American Music Guild Regional competition. She is a student of Miss Jami Krause, who teaches private lessons out of the Arts Center.
The DCA is very excited and grateful to have Ava performing at our Members Show opening reception!

The Downriver Council for the Arts (DCA) invites artists to submit work to our annual Members Show. This exhibit will showcase works of our DCA members. Any artist who is a current DCA member or would like to become one is invited to participate. If you haven’t renewed your membership yet, this is the perfect time to renew.
