The Downriver Council for the Arts invites artists of all disciplines to explore and celebrate the wonders of the natural world in our upcoming exhibit, Fish, Flora, and Fauna. This show will feature artworks inspired by the vibrant and diverse characters of nature—real and imagined, living and extinct, peaceful and poisonous. For centuries, nature has served as humanity’s greatest muse. Artists have continually turned to the natural world to capture its beauty, mystery, and complexity. Through this exhibit, we aim to honor that tradition by showcasing works that evoke gardens, forests, shores, wild landscapes, and pond environments, or delve into the intricate stories of plants and animals.
