POSTPONED - Anime Club - Winter/Spring 2020

PLEASE CHECK BACK FOR WHEN ANIME CLUB WILL RESUME.

Tuesdays at 6:30pm

Session Dates: Jan. 21 / Feb. 4, 18 / Mar. 3, 17, 31 / Apr. 7, 21 / May 5, 19

Designed for fans of anime, manga, comics and cartoons. The anime art form, having originated in Japan in the early 1900s, is a uniquely stylized form of two- and three-dimensional illustration and animation. Develop the skills you need to make the art you love! Facilitated by Trisha Schultz, a talented local artist and fine art instructor.

Peer teaching and interaction is one of anime club's most positive effects. No formal lesson is taught, however the Ms. Trisha is available to offer individual skill developing. The students encourage one another and readily offer ideas or suggestions. It gives them a sense of building relationships with other fans of anime and they're interacting with kids they don't normally interact with during the school day.

Cost per session:  $15 per class. Drop-in any time. Pay in the office when arriving.

Bring pencils or markers and sketchbooks. Open to ages 11 and up. All skill levels welcome.
